Events

PTA

We’ve wrapped up Sports Daze activities all across school! Congo, Niger, Volta and Zambezi all displayed phenomenal performances. Every child was a winner! Zambezi won gold for march past, while Niger won the athletic events. Congo and Volta tied second, and Zambezi came in third. For our Preschool Sports Daze, each child was indeed a winner and went home with a gold medal. Volta (Preschool) won the march past.

INVITATIONAL RELAY (ACA @ Lead City International School)

After a very successful Sports Daze, ACA was invited to Lead City International School to compete in their inter-school relays. We went in with some of our best athletes and all were fighters! Elementary (middle) school boys won 1st place, while the girls came in 2nd! Senior school boys and girls came in 3rd. This was our first invited schools relay this academic year and we look forward to attending some more.

PTA: First Meeting of the Year!

Lots of great conversations at our first meeting of the semester! Following this large PTA meeting, we have scheduled smaller school meetings. Take a look at the meeting minutes shared for updates and communications.

Special Activities

100 DAYS OF SCHOOL

“Happy 100 Days of School!” We had been counting down since the beginning of the school year and were excited to celebrate with our younger students dressed up as Centenarians for the day, while completing artwork and activities in 100’s!

DR. SEUSS DAY

The more that you READ, the more things you will KNOW.

The more that you LEARN, the more places you’ll GO!” – Dr. Seuss

We celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday in preschool and junior school dressed up as characters from his books!

Dr. Seuss Day, also known as National Read Across America Day, celebrates the joy of learning and the importance of early literacy. At ACA, we have an extensive literacy program that encourages children even as early as creche to interact with books. We follow through with fun games, innovative teaching methods and focused one-on-one learning in literacy classes through pre- and junior school, and continue to monitor and encourage the growth of our older students through advanced reading/literature, writing, research, and oral presentations.

ST. PATRICK’S DAY

“Happy St. Patrick’s Day!” Our KG class celebrated dressed in green.
