ACA Students Receive Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award

During the summer break, two of our students were recognized by the British Council for their exceptional performances- Opemide in Geography and Ifeoluwa in Design and Technology.

In September, we had the privilege of attending the British Council Recognition and Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards, where ACA was celebrated among the top schools producing ‘Top in Nigeria’ students in the IGCSE exams.

Congratulations, Opemide and Ifeoluwa- we are incredibly proud of your remarkable achievement!

Back-to-School Night: Catching Up on All the Excitement

Back-to-School Night at ACA is one of our most cherished traditions- a time for parents to meet teachers, share in the excitement of a new school year, and partner in their child’s learning journey. From Elementary to Middle and High School, parents turned out in full force for their respective evenings.

They learned more about their child’s academic journey, our policies and procedures, and the launch of our new Social Emotional Learning (SEL) unit. A special highlight for High School parents was exploring the brand-new campus for our senior students.

To keep things fun, we challenged parents with our Angelfood Café quiz- though we’re still waiting for someone to score a perfect 6 out of 6! Think you can do better? Keep an eye on our Instagram story this Tuesday and take your shot at the quiz.

Nigeria at 65: Showcasing Nigerian Culture with Pride

What better way to celebrate Nigeria’s Independence than with a colorful display of traditional attire, showcasing the beauty of unity in diversity?

We kick-started the celebration during our all-school Monday worship with songs from different tribes and a parade with boys and girls, men and women, representing different tribes. It was inspirational to hear our elementary school students sing the national anthem with pride and precision.

We wrapped our celebration as we painted our campus green and white with the national colors. Watch the highlight here.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Last year, our Performance Club lit up the stage with a spectacular production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

It was an unforgettable experience for both the cast and audience!

Here are some highlights- and don’t forget to watch out for the full video, coming soon to our YouTube channel.
