Welcome to American Christian Academy
Our annual Senior Walk, themed “Born to Soar” this year, was incredibly special. Our Class of 2024 graduating seniors took their traditional walk from Preschool to High School, throughout the ACA campus they’ve come to call home. They were greeted by the entire student and staff body with smiles and cheers and high fives and warm hugs. Watch the YouTube video below, and don’t forget to share with family and friends. To listen to more from our music selection, scan our “Born to Soar” playlist from the QR code in your 2023-2024 Yearbook Table of Contents.

Elementary School Community Service Highlight: 4th Grade
4th Graders served a meal to all students of our local neighborhood primary school. As part of their community service efforts, they raised funds from a BBQ sale in school, chores at home and in their neighborhood, a Nigerian cultural dance performance, and a few generous donors. In their own way, our students immersed themselves in the lives of each student they met. They thoroughly enjoyed their community service experience and the joy of giving, and all returned with increased gratitude for all that they have at their home school, ACA.
“We exceeded our fundraising goal, raising over N600,000! We served almost 250 children and their teachers! We used additional funds to put on a lunch date for our drivers and nannies on Children’s Day, serving the people who serve and take care of us.”
Appreciation: Thank you to all the staff, students and administration of the Methodist Primary School for welcoming us so warmly and accepting our service and meals with joy. Thank you to our generous donors and all who patronized and supported us. Thank you to our teachers and wonderful school for giving us the gift community service, gratitude and giving. THANK YOU!

High School Internships
Our High School Internship Program is a wonderful opportunity for students to shadow professionals in a real-life working environment, while exploring fields of interests and developing useful skills. Students explored careers in sales and marketing, tech, hospitality, human resources, business administration, finance, accounting, operation and maintenance, manufacturing, research, journalism, construction, architecture, software development, and more. Students were expected to maintain good work ethics and commit to the program by full attendance, completing all assigned tasks, maintaining a pleasant attitude, proper grooming, and punctuality.

MOTHER’S DAY
2024 Mother’s Day Tea: “We had a wonderful time singing to you and serving you tea on your special day, but we’re loving you all year round! …and so each child came out to say, ‘THANK YOU to the ones who mothered me!'”
FATHER’S DAY
CHILDREN’S DAY
We’ve loved welcoming our alumni back to ACA from around the world this past semester!
Whether for a quick visit or for a physical/virtual talk, as an intern or as a teacher,
leading our projects as an architect or playing with our students as a professional soccer player,
or even back with their children to attend ACA as second-generation students!
We love seeing ACA alumni soaring high, and we look forward to welcoming you!
ALUMNI AT ACA’S NEW SOCCER FIELD LAUNCH!
ACA’s alumnus and professional soccer player, Michael Dare (West Ham UK), visited ACA to launch our new soccer field with an opening match and inspire ACA’s top soccer players. Malik Melli, former ACA goal keeper and now architect, also stopped by. We are excited to have him lead ACA’s latest project — new changing rooms for our soccer field and swimming pool!
