Welcome to American Christian Academy
Did you miss us because we thoroughly missed sharing our world with you! And we apologise for being late with it! We hope to make up for it as you look through the compilation of some of our favorite moments through April.
April was somewhat a short month due to our Easter break, but we made the best of it right from the start with our colorful Easter assembly and wrapped it up by having our community together for a fun day, courtesy of our PTA at the PTA Community Carnival. Stick with us to experience it all in this blog!
Easter is a celebration of a love so genuine and beautiful that it sacrificed itself for humanity, and at our Easter assembly, we celebrated this love– the love of God. Our preschool and elementary kids performed many songs, amongst which they sang “Jean 3:16,” an expression of God’s love in French.
From poetry, dance performances, musical pieces, to a performance of “Ibike” by the Onireke Chorale.
We dare say that we have the best PTA a school could ask for! A few months ago, we had a fun meet and greet organised by our PTA, and in April, they returned with one of the most anticipated events of the year, the PTA Community Carnival. The Community Carnival is a celebration that unites every member of our school, allowing us to bond over good food, games, and unique experiences. We enjoyed hosting our parents, students, staff, and friends for a fun time and had so many winners at the raffle draw station. A huge thank you to our parents and staff for making this year’s carnival a blast!
Our 4th graders recently organized a car wash to raise funds for an upcoming humanitarian project. Beyond the soap and shining cars, the experience gave students a meaningful opportunity to learn about empathy, service, and the dignity of labor, all while working together for a greater cause.
