Welcome to American Christian Academy
As Denise Witmer puts it, a new school year means “new beginnings, new adventures, new friendships, and new challenges…” And here at ACA, we’re excited about the new beginnings this school year offers.
This year, we are going for gold!
Welcome to our first blog post of the school year.
In this edition of our monthly blog, we recap September’s highlights, including Orientation Day, where we welcomed new families, and Back-to-School Nite, where parents connected with teachers. Our Monthly Class Features provide an inside look at classroom activities across school.
We invite you to sit back and enjoy!
We love opening our doors to new families and were delighted to welcome our new parents and students in September. Orientation Day allowed our new students to meet their teachers, play games, and get acquainted with the environment. New parents got to interact with staff members and understand our policies as it relates to the students. ACA is a family and community-oriented school and we love, value, and appreciate our new families.
Here’s a snippet of our Orientation Day.
We begin each school year with our exciting “Back-to-School Nite”, welcoming families from preschool through high school. This year, ACA parents had the opportunity to explore classrooms and enjoy meaningful interactions with teachers and fellow parents.
Back-to-School Nite offers a valuable glimpse into students’ daily school experiences while fostering connections between parents, teachers, and the school community.
We’re excited to share two outstanding achievements at ACA! Our alumni, Ore and Moji, have been awarded the prestigious AP Scholar with Distinction, recognizing their hard work and academic excellence. Ore also made history as ACA’s first recipient of the AP International Diploma and has earned enough AP credits to skip her entire first year of college!
These accomplishments reflect ACA’s commitment to academic excellence and the incredible potential of our students. We celebrate Ore and Moji and look forward to their continued success.

Our 9th to 12th graders embarked on an exciting trip to Lagos for the EducationUSA College Fair, and it turned out to be an incredibly enriching experience. Our US Track High School students had the opportunity to engage with representatives from over 15 US universities, learning about various courses, campus environments, and the unique experience of each institution.
Surrounded by peers from other schools, our students not only expanded their academic horizons but also made new friends along the way. The journey back home was filled with fun and laughter as the kids enjoyed a lively karaoke session.
